Dr. Chandrani graduated from SUNY College of Optometry after being accepted into a 7-year accelerated program with the New Jersey Institute of Technology and graduating with a degree in Biology. The part of Optometry Dr. Chandrani enjoys most is the detective work involved in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients’ eye care needs. She particularly enjoys fitting specialty scleral contact lenses for patients who require a unique solution to obtain clear vision that would not be possible otherwise.

Dr. Chandrani is highly experienced in ocular disease and contact lenses and she is invested in providing personalized care for each patient to help keep their vision clear and their eyes healthy to support their thriving lifestyle!

Outside of work, Dr. Chandrani loves spending time with her husband and two adorable children, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. She is also a dancer and has trained in classical (Bharat Natyam) and semi-classical Indian dance.

Optometrist

Dr. Hwang graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2016. She is widely experienced in ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics, and binocular vision/vision therapy, having completed her clinical externships across the northeast. She is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, American Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. In addition to having served these organizations on several boards both locally and internationally, Dr. Hwang enjoys volunteering in the community. She has spent time overseas in Haiti providing eye care to underserved populations and gives eye exams every summer to athletes at Special Olympics NJ held at The College of New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and fine arts minor in 2012. She sees patients in the Plainsboro office.

Optometrist

Dr. Neiheiser earned an engineering degree from Rutgers University and is a 1991 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the National Glaucoma Society. He chairs the Dr. Leslie Mintz Scholarship Committee, which awards money to deserving optometry students from NJ. He volunteers for the "InfantSEE" program, which promotes no-cost eye examinations for children under 1 year of age. He also was voted "One of the Best Optometrists" in the area by the Trentonian.

He and his wife, Dr. Bernadette, have lived in the area for over 30 years, and found it to be a great community to raise their two daughters. He thinks Plainsboro is a nice little oasis in an otherwise busy area - and a perfect central location for all that New Jersey, New York, and Philly have to offer. When he's not examining eyes, he might be travelling, hiking, singing, brewing beer, or attending a Rutgers sporting event.
